Former Army Chief General (Retd) Qamar Javed Bajwa Attends PTI Leader’s Niece’s Wedding; Pictures With Political Leaders Go Viral
ISLAMABAD: Former Chief of Army Staff General (retd) Qamar Javed Bajwa attended the wedding ceremony of the niece of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) MNA Atif Khan, while pictures showing his interaction with PTI leaders have gone viral on social media.
According to reports, the wedding ceremony was held at a major hotel in Islamabad, with pictures from the event subsequently circulating online.
Several prominent political figures, including the chairman of the Senate, the speaker of the Punjab Assembly, and members of both the government and opposition, attended the ceremony.
General (retd) Qamar Javed Bajwa was among the guests from the groom’s side.
During the event, PTI leaders Asad Qaiser and Barrister Gohar Ali Khan met the former army chief. Photographs of their interaction attracted attention on social media.
Other prominent attendees included Sherry Rehman, Nayyar Bukhari, Pervez Khattak, Fawad Chaudhry, Asad Umar and Imran Ismail.
