Understand This! Mohsin Naqvi’s Harsh Words Against Maulana Are Actually the Anger That Came from the Military’s Top Brass: Muneeb Farooq

ISLAMABAD (Daily Qudrat): Senior journalist Muneeb Farooq has said that understand this — Mohsin Naqvi’s harsh words against the Maulana are actually the anger that came from the military’s top brass. In Pindi, there is a severe wave of anger regarding the Maulana — that enough is enough.

In his vlog, Muneeb Farooq said that the temperature has certainly risen after the Maulana’s speech, but what needs to be seen is how far the temperature will rise.

Let me tell you that the military establishment of Pakistan — the Pakistan Army — Mohsin Naqvi’s harsh words against the Maulana — understand this — that anger was from the military’s movers and shakers. If I say that the wave of anger in Pindi regarding the Maulana is such that, according to them, enough is enough — the kind of politics the Maulana has practised will no longer continue.

If you threaten the state that you have madrassa students and workers, then fine — such matters will no longer work, there will be great bitterness, but perhaps the bitterness will never reach the level to which it has gone with PTI.

Even during the Bajwa era, conditions with the Maulana were not so good; when he took the long march to Islamabad, Faiz Hamid showed him the new truck’s lights and he went back.

Now the state says such matters will not work, and the intentions are that the questions that have not been asked of the Maulana to date will now be asked.

This is a news item — where will it be confirmed from? Will the federal government and Information Minister Atta Tarar come and tell the nation regarding Maulana Fazlur Rehman that the Maulana is doing all these things, and that the state’s response to this will be all this? If they do all this, it will mean this is the state’s response.
