Killing of Seven Terrorists in Gwadar Result of Timely and Effective Action by Security Forces: Mir Ziaullah Langau

QUETTA: Balochistan Home Minister Mir Ziaullah Langau has praised the security forces for foiling a terrorist operation in Gwadar, saying the killing of seven terrorists was the result of a timely, effective and professional response.
In a statement, the provincial home minister said security personnel had acted promptly to thwart the attackers’ nefarious designs, demonstrating their commitment to protecting peace and stability in Balochistan.
He said elements seeking to undermine peace and stability in the province would never succeed in achieving their objectives.
Langau described the sacrifices made by security forces in the fight against terrorism as a source of pride for the entire nation, adding that personnel continued to serve the country and protect its people without regard for their own safety.
No Conspiracy Against Balochistan’s Development Will Succeed
The home minister said the government would not allow conspiracies against Balochistan’s peace, stability and development to succeed.
He added that attempts to obstruct the province’s progress through terrorism and spread fear among the public would continue to be thwarted.
Langau emphasised that efforts to sabotage ongoing development projects and economic activities in Balochistan would not be tolerated.
He said maintaining law and order in Gwadar and other parts of the province remained a top government priority to ensure a secure environment for residents and sustain the process of development and prosperity.
Public and Security Forces to Work Together Against Terrorism
The provincial home minister expressed confidence that the people of Balochistan and security forces would work together to eliminate terrorism.
He said the people of the province were peace-loving and wanted lasting peace, stability and development.
Langau reiterated that attempts to halt Balochistan’s progress through terrorist activities would not succeed, adding that the government would continue taking all possible measures to maintain peace, protect the lives and property of citizens, and ensure the uninterrupted continuation of development projects.
