Bill Clinton Reveals Daughter Chelsea Studied Quran at Age 15, Criticizes Trump’s Anti-Muslim Rhetoric
Miami (Qudrat Daily): Former US President Bill Clinton has criticized current President Donald Trump over his anti-Muslim narrative, saying he is fed up with those who defame Muslims simply for being Muslim. According to the US broadcaster, the former president, while addressing an event held at a church in South Florida in connection with the midterm elections, criticized Americans for adopting inappropriate attitudes toward Muslims and also spoke about the teachings of the Holy Quran.
During the election campaign of Democratic gubernatorial candidate David Jolly ahead of the midterm elections, the 80-year-old former president addressed a gathering, where he revealed that his daughter had studied the Quran at the age of 15. He said she had told him that the Quran teaches that Allah Almighty divided human beings into nations and tribes.
He said that we should not consider one another inferior, because bad elements exist in every religion, and we are all flawed. It is noteworthy that US President Trump, while reacting to recent unrest in France, had claimed that Paris would soon become a Muslim city, to which French President Emmanuel Macron responded strongly, saying that Trump’s statements on the unrest in France are unacceptable and foolish.
