Instead of Traditional Education, It Is Essential to Give Youth and Women Technical Skills Suited to the Modern Market — Dr. Rubaba Buledi

Quetta — Advisor to the Chief Minister of Balochistan for the Women’s Development Department Dr. Rubaba Khan Buledi met with Director General BSCA Dr. Hafeez Ahmed Jamali, Director General National Institute of Public Administration (NIPA) Quetta Dr. Syed Ali Raza Shah, and Director General NAVTTC Balochistan Dr. Hussain Bakhsh Mugsi.
The meeting held a detailed exchange of views on various measures and proposed training programs related to professional development, modern technical education, technical training, and the promotion of employment-linked skills for the youth and women of Naseerabad district.
On the occasion, Dr. Rubaba Khan Buledi said that providing skills to Balochistan’s youth, especially women, in line with modern requirements is a fundamental necessity for sustainable economic development. Training programs need to be introduced in Naseerabad that are compatible with local needs, available resources, and the demands of the job market.
She said that instead of relying solely on traditional education, the younger generation must be provided with opportunities for practical skills, digital technology, entrepreneurial capabilities, and professional training so that they can not only find employment but also start their own businesses.
Dr. Rubaba Khan Buledi said there are immense capabilities among the women of Naseerabad, but effective training facilities, institutional cooperation, and market-linked skills programs are essential to convert these capabilities into economic opportunities. Women’s economic autonomy not only improves their families’ standard of living but also plays an important role in overall social and economic development.
The Advisor for Women’s Development stressed that coordinated collaboration among relevant institutions should be used to formulate workable training plans whose results directly appear in the form of improvement in the lives of youth and women.
She said the fruits of development should reach every area of the province, and investment in human resource development in districts like Naseerabad is very important for the future. The Women’s Development Department attaches importance to cooperation with relevant institutions to empower women and enable them to play an effective role in economic activities.
