Hazara Democratic Party Says Form 47 Government Cannot Serve Public, Calls for Free Elections in Quetta

Quetta (Qudrat Daily) — **Abdul Khaliq Hazara**, Chairman of the **Hazara Democratic Party (HDP)**, along with senior leaders including **Vice Chairmen Omar Mirza Hazara and Azizullah Hazara**, General Secretary **Ahmed Ali Kohzad**, and other party officials, addressed public gatherings during corner meetings in **Zarghoon Town and Chiltan Town** as part of the election campaign.
Speaking to supporters, Abdul Khaliq Hazara said that the **HDP is fully capable of representing the aspirations of the people**. He highlighted the party’s exemplary performance from **2018 to 2024**, noting that HDP has consistently provided strong representation for the **Hazara community and the province**.
He criticized the **PPP and PML-N** for allegedly **seizing the right of Quetta’s citizens to choose their representatives through Form 47**, describing the current rulers as lacking legitimacy and incapable of addressing public concerns. He said, “The leaders who come to power through such actions do not have the courage to engage with the people, negotiate with them, or solve their problems. They are the source of ongoing issues in Quetta, which has become a hub of administrative failures.”
HDP leaders called for **free and fair elections**, emphasizing that citizens must be allowed to **choose their leaders independently**. They urged voters to participate in the **upcoming elections on December 28** and exercise their right to vote in favor of **HDP-nominated candidates** to address the city’s pressing problems.
