Concern Over Alleged Disappearance of Mina Majid Baloch’s Brother: Kech Civil Society Urges Immediate and Safe Recovery on Humanitarian Grounds

QUETTA (Qudrat Daily) — Kech Civil Society has expressed deep sorrow and profound shock over the alleged disappearance of the brother of Provincial Advisor for Sports and Youth Affairs Mina Majid Baloch at Mund, and has made an earnest appeal for his immediate and safe recovery.

In its statement, it was said that Mina Majid Baloch is a political figure and everyone can have their own views in politics, but causing distress to someone’s family members or dragging them into the matter because of a person’s political role is not right in any way. According to reports, the affected brother has no connection to politics or any kind of political activity; he is an ordinary citizen.

Kech Civil Society emphasized in its statement that the society of Makran and all of Balochistan has always stood on the traditions of mutual respect, love, and brotherhood. Political differences should never be brought to the family level. Distressing the innocent family members of an individual because of their thoughts or ideology is an unbearable trauma for an entire family, which also affects social harmony.

The statement humbly appealed to all relevant quarters and authorities to play their positive role in this matter, keeping in view Baloch traditions, Islamic brotherhood, and purely humanitarian compassion. Differences of opinion are one thing, but respect for the sanctity of the family is above all else.

Our appeal is a compassionate one: that the apple of a family’s eye and an innocent brother return safely to his loved ones, so that an atmosphere of love, peace, and tolerance may be maintained in society.
