iPhone 18 Suffers from a New Problem — What Is the Reality?

California (Qudrat Daily) – A new problem has gripped buyers of the new iPhone 18 Pro by American technology company Apple, leaving consumers worried.
Some users of the most expensive iPhone 18 Pro series have been reporting complaints of the phone’s color fading and discoloration, after which questions have begun to arise on social media regarding the quality of the new iPhone’s paint coating.
According to reports, numerous users have shared pictures on Reddit of burgundy-colored iPhone 18 Pro units whose color appears to fade over time, while some users have also pointed out similar changes in black-colored iPhones.
Interestingly, the color change allegedly begins around the area of the phone’s camera lens and later spreads to other parts of the aluminum body.

Some users say that this change is not due to dust, grease, or any visible damage, because even after cleaning the phone, the color does not return to its original state.
It is noteworthy that this situation also resembles complaints from some users of the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max last year.
Last year too, a few weeks after the phone’s launch, users had complained of unusual discoloration, particularly in the cosmetic orange color, while reports also emerged of paint changing in some units of the deep blue color.

In the case of the iPhone 18 Pro, users are speculating about the possible causes of this defect. Some users believe that leaving the phone exposed to sunlight or ultraviolet light for extended periods may affect the paint, as the color change allegedly becomes apparent after the phone spends some time in the outdoor environment.
To avoid this potential problem, some users are also suggesting various precautionary measures, including keeping the phone in a case at all times. However, it is not yet clear what the actual cause of the color fading is. Technology experts and users are now waiting for an official explanation from Apple.
Therefore, users are hopeful that if a manufacturing or coating issue is proven in the iPhone 18 Pro as well, the company will announce a replacement or some other solution for the affected phones.
