Mr. Bean Star Rowan Atkinson to Return to Stage After 40 Years

LONDON:World-renowned comedian Rowan Atkinson, best known for his iconic character Mr. Bean, is set to return to the stage after a gap of 40 years.
The acclaimed actor and comedian will take the lead role in his first West End comedy sketch show, featuring a mix of new material along with some of his most popular comedy sketches and characters.
The show will be staged next year at London’s Gillian Lynne Theatre, where Atkinson will make his long-awaited return to the stage.
For the production, Atkinson will reunite with *Blackadder* co-writers Richard Curtis and Ben Elton, as well as composer Howard Goodall.
The stage show will feature only 30 performances and is scheduled to run at the Gillian Lynne Theatre from **February 8 to March 13**.
The production is expected to mark a major return to live performance for Atkinson, whose iconic comedy characters have made him one of Britain’s most internationally recognized comedians.
