Impose Governor’s Rule Tomorrow If You Want, Impose It Today, Impose It Right Now — I Have No Worry About Such Things: Sohail Afridi

Kohat (Qudrat Daily) – Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi, reacting extremely strongly to the federation’s threats of imposing governor’s rule or emergency, has said that he is not one to be frightened by any kind of threats. If they want to impose governor’s rule tomorrow, impose it today, impose it right now — I have no worry about such things.
Speaking on the matter, while criticising the current government’s policies, Sohail Afridi said that due to failed policies, terrorism is continuously increasing instead of decreasing. Even if they take my life, I will not accept their policy on terrorism.
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister’s position is that the federation’s policy on terrorism is an anti-Pashtun policy, an anti-province policy, and an anti-Pakistan policy. The game of earning dollars off the heads of Pashtuns will no longer be allowed to continue. I curse the chair for which the heads of Pashtuns must be traded — this was neither acceptable before, nor is it acceptable today, nor will it be in the future.
Reacting to the federation’s hints of imposing governor’s rule or emergency in the province, he challenged: if governor’s rule is to be imposed today, impose it today; it makes no difference to me. I am not one to be frightened by their threats; let these people do whatever they want.
He said that the destination of our long march is beyond Swabi, and its final result will be before everyone. Our objective is real freedom; for the dream Imran Khan saw, the chair is a small thing — even one’s life may have to be staked, even one’s life may have to be sacrificed, and I will not back down. My Pashtuns, these people will try to create unrest among you, but you must remain peaceful; I have my foot on their tail.
