Police-Public Cooperation Indispensable for Establishing Peace; Traditional Distances Must Be Eliminated: IG Balochistan

Quetta (Qudrat Daily) — Inspector General of Police Balochistan Muhammad Tahir visited Zhob, where upon arrival a smartly turned-out police contingent presented him a salute. During the visit, the DIG Zhob gave the IG Balochistan a detailed briefing on the overall law and order situation in the district, police performance, and other important matters. On this occasion, IG Police Muhammad Tahir, while appreciating the professional capabilities and effective performance of duties by officers and personnel, paid tribute to their services.

Later, IG Balochistan, while addressing a police darbar held in Zhob, met police personnel directly, listened to their problems, and issued necessary instructions to the relevant authorities for their immediate resolution. He urged the personnel to perform their duties with hard work, dedication, and professional spirit, ensuring the protection of people’s lives and property.

During his visit to Zhob, IG Balochistan also met the families of police martyrs and inquired about their well-being and issues. Speaking on the occasion, he said that police martyrs are our pride and their great sacrifices will always be remembered. He assured that the police department will never leave the families of martyrs alone and will stand with them in every difficult hour.

IG Police Muhammad Tahir also met with local notables and elders of the area, in which a detailed exchange of views took place on the law and order situation and other public matters. He said that mutual cooperation between police and the public is indispensable for establishing lasting peace, and local notables can play an important role in this regard.

He expressed the resolve that Balochistan Police will continue to fulfill its responsibilities in the best possible manner for the protection of people’s lives and property, the rule of law, and the establishment of peace.
