Gold and Silver Prices Decline; 24-Karat Gold Falls to Rs438,636 per Tola

KARACHI: Gold and silver prices declined again in the domestic and international bullion markets on Thursday, with the price of 24-karat gold falling by Rs3,000 per tola.

According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold decreased to Rs438,636 per tola.

The price of 24-karat gold per 10 grams fell by Rs2,572 to Rs376,059, while 22-karat gold per 10 grams decreased by Rs2,358 to Rs344,733.

Based on the reported 24-karat rate, the approximate per-tola prices for other common gold purities are:

22-karat: Rs402,083 per tola
21-karat: Rs383,807 per tola
18-karat: Rs328,977 per tola

In the international market, the price of gold declined by $30 per ounce to $4,161.

Meanwhile, the price of 24-karat silver fell by Rs50 per tola to Rs6,528, while 10 grams of silver decreased by Rs43 to Rs5,596.

The international price of silver also declined by $0.50 per ounce to $60.50.
