Long Marches Have Never Delivered Results and Never Will, Says Mustafa Kamal

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Health Mustafa Kamal has said that Pakistan cannot afford another long march, arguing that such protests have never produced meaningful results in the past and will not do so in the future.
Speaking to the media, Mustafa Kamal said no objectives had been achieved through long marches in the past and no major decisions had ever been made through such campaigns.
He said long marches were not a solution to the country’s problems, adding that issues should instead be resolved through dialogue and negotiations.
Commenting on petroleum prices, the federal minister said a change in government would not make petroleum products cheaper.
Mustafa Kamal also said the war that began between Pakistan and India in May had not ended and was now continuing in a more dangerous form.
He claimed that Pakistani soldiers were being martyred on a daily basis and alleged that after losing the war, India had shifted to a proxy war.
