In response to a question, Sher Afzal Marwat said that two or three journalists had asked me for Senate tickets, including Moeed Pirzada and Ali Zai; Ali Zai had also come to meet me. I had conveyed a message to Imran Khan, but Imran Khan had apologized. Imran Khan said that I have other commitments. When I did not get them tickets, they turned against me.
In response to a question, he said that fear me, because I am not a normal person. If these people do not come to the right path, I will openly say that I am an enemy of PTI and I will do enmity. I should not be brought to this point.
Similarly, analyst Muneeb Farooq has said that today is an important day because Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has returned. The Prime Minister may have a few important meetings. There are strong chances that PTI will escape governor’s rule and emergency in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Further positive developments may occur today. There are backdoor or front-door contacts from PTI’s side. Regarding the long march, it was said that a face-saving solution should be found through sitting down, so that the matter gets settled. Due to this, the possibility has arisen that PTI will escape governor’s rule and emergency in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
I have said before as well that all of this should not happen, because there is also terrorism in the province and there is a strong PTI government. The pressure not to impose governor’s rule and emergency in the province has broken, but the needle is still stuck on removing Sohail Afridi from his post; he will have to go. The option is that there is talk of an in-house change, meaning a no-confidence motion is being brought; some people have also agreed to this, that the province should be run in a better manner and things there should be run according to the state’s policy.
