LNG Prices Slashed by Up to $3.91 per MMBtu

ISLAMABAD: The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has significantly reduced liquefied natural gas (LNG) prices, with a notification issued in this regard.

According to the notification, OGRA has cut LNG prices by more than 21 percent for September, reducing the price by up to $3.91 per million British thermal units (MMBtu).

The LNG price on the Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) system has been reduced by $3.83 per MMBtu. Following the reduction, the new LNG price for the Sui Northern system has been fixed at $15.19 per MMBtu.

Meanwhile, the LNG price on the Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) system has been reduced by $3.91 per MMBtu, bringing the new price to $14.22 per MMBtu.

The reduction is applicable for September, according to the OGRA notification.
