Shruti Haasan Calls Marriage Unnecessary, Expresses Desire to Become a Mother

Islamabad (Qudrat Daily) – Indian actress Shruti Haasan, while talking about her personal life, has revealed that there was a time when she came very close to the decision to get married.

The actress also made clear that the desire to become a mother exists in her heart for the future, and for that, the path of adopting a child is also acceptable to her.

Shruti Haasan expressed her views on the traditional concept of marriage while participating in Soha Ali Khan’s podcast. She said that she likes someone’s companionship and togetherness, but she has always avoided limiting herself to one particular box for her entire life.

According to the actress, she is not particularly interested in the paperwork of marriage, unnecessary expenses, and showmanship. She raised the question of why there is a need to spend such a large amount of money on marriage, and why the same money should not be used to help someone in need.

Shruti revealed that she had once come very close to the decision to get married, and when the decisive moment came, she did not feel as much fear as people might imagine. However, she made clear that she is not criticizing people who have big and grand weddings, but this practice has always personally troubled her.

Speaking about her future desire, the actress said that she wants to become a mother. For her, giving birth to a child is not the only way; she is also ready to adopt a child.
