Mustafa Kamal Says Karachi Youth Will Take to Shahrah-e-Faisal in Six Weeks

KARACHI:Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) central leader and Federal Health Minister Mustafa Kamal has said that Karachi’s youth will take to Shahrah-e-Faisal after six weeks to demand a separate province for the city.
Addressing a youth convention in Federal B Area, Kamal alleged that tax revenue generated by Karachi is being diverted instead of being spent on the city’s development, claiming that the money “parks at the Chief Minister’s House.”
He claimed that Karachi’s annual share amounts to Rs664 billion, alleging that the Sindh government does not provide even Rs100 billion to the city in development resources.
Kamal said Karachi would no longer seek charity and would demand its rights through the creation of new administrative units and provinces.
He alleged that Karachi’s resources had been exploited for the past 18 years and said the time had come to ensure the rights of the youth of Karachi and Sindh.
The MQM-P leader reiterated that after six weeks, Karachi’s youth would take to the streets to demand a separate province.
