“In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the Operations Are Being Carried Out by Those Who Toppled Khan’s Government and Imposed Incompetents on Us”: Junaid Akbar

Islamabad: PTI Member of the National Assembly Junaid Akbar Khan has said that in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the operations are being carried out by those who toppled Khan’s government and imposed incompetents on us. These people are not hidden; they consider themselves the claimants of the country. Speaking to the media, he said that the operations taking place in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are being carried out by the very people who toppled Khan Sahib’s government, the very people who rigged the elections, and the very people who imposed incompetents on us. These people are not hidden from anyone; they consider themselves the claimants of this country.
Junaid Akbar said that in their view, whatever they say is right, and whatever does not suit them — whether it is law or constitution — is not acceptable to them. Hatred will increase further due to these attitudes. He said that he repeatedly tells them that Bhutto was a leader of one generation, and they have not been able to finish him off yet. Imran Khan is a leader of three to four generations. How many people have you broken, forced to change parties, and declared incompetent? Did PTI’s graph go down? PTI’s popularity graph is going up. This attitude is unacceptable.

Meanwhile, Islamabad Police have requested a heavy contingent of 16,000 personnel from Punjab and 2,000 from Sindh to deal with PTI’s long march. According to sources cited by Geo News, Islamabad Police, in light of the directives and orders of the Ministry of Interior, have begun implementing a strategy to deal with PTI’s possible long march on September 27.
Islamabad Police have requested 16,000 personnel from Punjab and 2,000 from Sindh to deal with the PTI long march. Similarly, 3 DIGs, 7 SSPs, and 18 SPs have also been sought from Punjab and Sindh. Likewise, Islamabad Police have also requested Rs8.27 billion for security arrangements, and more than 2,000 containers have been moved to Islamabad and Attock to block highways. It has been learned that around 30,000 personnel will be deployed in Attock. The strategy devised is that more arrests will be made rather than dispersing protesters.
