58 Illegal Afghan Residents Detained in Balochistan While Attempting to Travel to Iran and Europe

QUETTA:Security forces have detained 58 illegally residing Afghan nationals, including women and children, in Balochistan while they were allegedly attempting to travel to Iran and Europe through Pakistan.

According to security sources, the forces foiled an alleged human smuggling attempt in the Dasht Mirani area of Balochistan and detained the 58 Afghan nationals.

The security sources said the detained individuals were trying to reach Iran and subsequently travel to Europe through Pakistan.

All those taken into custody have been handed over to the relevant police authorities for further legal proceedings, according to security sources.
