Bilawal Bhutto Zardari Strongly Condemns Violence Against Journalist Nasir Ahmed
Quetta — Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has strongly condemned the incident of violence against senior Balochistan journalist Nasir Ahmed and emphasized the importance of protecting journalists and freedom of the press.
In his condemnation statement, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that journalists are the fourth pillar of the country, and any kind of obstruction, violence, or pressure against them in the performance of their professional duties is a matter of serious concern.
He said that the Pakistan Peoples Party believes in freedom of the press, and journalists have the right to perform their duties in a safe and free environment. Condemning the incident of violence against journalist Nasir Ahmed, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari stressed the need for action against the responsible elements in accordance with the law.
