DIG Quetta Imran Shawkat Meets Senior Journalist Naseer Ahmed, Assures Protection of Journalists and Justice
Quetta (Qudrat Daily): Senior journalist Naseer Ahmed met with Deputy Inspector General of Police Quetta, Imran Shawkat, and apprised him of the details regarding an incident that occurred in recent days.
During the meeting, DIG Quetta Imran Shawkat assured that a complete and impartial investigation into the incident would be conducted, and all requirements of justice would be fulfilled. He stated that Quetta Police stands with the journalist community and will continue to extend all possible cooperation for the protection of journalists and the resolution of their issues.
DIG Quetta further said that Quetta is our home, and eliminating mutual differences and misunderstandings can help maintain peace, brotherhood, and mutual trust in the city.
Matters pertaining to mutual cooperation, law and order, and the protection of journalists were also discussed during the meeting.
