Maryam Nawaz’s Daughter Mahnoor Safdar Gets Married
LAHORE:Mahnoor Safdar, daughter of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz and granddaughter of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, has tied the knot with Azaan Jabbar, son of prominent industrialist Jabbar Khalid.
Beautiful pictures and videos from the wedding ceremony quickly went viral on social media after being shared online.
According to details, the Nikah ceremony was held at Jati Umra, the Sharif family residence in Lahore. The event was kept largely private and family-oriented, with only a limited number of guests invited. However, several prominent members of the Sharif family and political circles attended the occasion.
Renowned religious scholar Mufti Raghib Hussain Naeemi solemnised the Nikah. Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Nawaz Sharif, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Hasan Nawaz, Hussain Nawaz, Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and Marriyum Aurangzeb were among those who attended the ceremony.
Mahnoor Safdar’s bridal look has also become a major topic of discussion on social media. For the special occasion, she wore an elegant outfit designed by renowned Pakistani designer Nida Azwer.
The light-golden bridal ensemble featured intricate embroidery in turquoise, pink, gold and silver threads. She completed her look with diamond jewellery, soft ivory and pink makeup, and a half-open hairstyle.
It has also been reported that Mahnoor Safdar recently completed her graduation, after which reports about her marriage began circulating. Her husband, Azaan Jabbar, belongs to a prominent industrial family.
Both Mahnoor Safdar and Azaan Jabbar pursued their higher education at the prestigious SOAS University of London. Their acquaintance during their university years has now culminated in marriage.
