Iranian President Says Nation Will Never Surrender or Bow to Enemies

NEW DELHI:Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has said that the Iranian people will never surrender or bow before their enemies, declaring that Tehran will respond to any attempt to pressure or intimidate the country.
Addressing religious leaders, intellectuals and business figures in the Indian capital, Pezeshkian said Iran had succeeded in standing up to both Israel and the United States.
“We do not want to accept pressure. We will never bow before them. If they push us, we will respond,” the Iranian president said.
Pezeshkian accused the United States and Israel of killing 168 schoolchildren in a single incident, questioning what he described as the double standards in labeling Iran a terrorist state.
He also criticized the two countries over attacks on scientists, schools and hospitals. “If you have the courage, fight only soldiers and military personnel,” he said.
The Iranian president questioned why civilian infrastructure, employment and people’s livelihoods were being targeted, stressing that the Iranian people would not surrender.
Pezeshkian arrived in India on Friday to attend the upcoming BRICS summit. His visit comes amid ongoing tensions and conflict between Iran and the United States.
