Honda Atlas Clarifies Reports About Launch of 7th-Generation Honda City in Pakistan
KARACHI: Honda Atlas Cars Pakistan has rejected all unverified reports circulating online regarding the possible launch of the 7th-generation Honda City in Pakistan, urging customers to rely only on the company’s official sources for authentic information.
The company clarified that no official announcement has so far been made regarding the arrival of a new Honda City model in Pakistan. It therefore advised customers that they can continue booking the current model without concern.
The clarification came after a local automotive website reported that Honda Atlas could unveil the new car at an exhibition scheduled for September.
In a statement shared through its official social media account, Honda Atlas said Honda has always believed in providing transparent, responsible and accurate information to its customers.
The company urged customers not to pay attention to rumors regarding the launch of a new Honda City and also advised them against sharing unverified claims on social media and other digital platforms.
Honda Atlas specifically assured prospective buyers that bookings for the existing Honda City model could continue as usual. It categorically denied having made any official decision or announcement regarding the launch of the 7th-generation Honda City in Pakistan.
The company’s official website also continues to list the current Honda City model for booking, with no information indicating an imminent model change.
The clarification followed a report by a local automotive portal claiming that Honda Atlas might unveil the 7th-generation Honda City during the Pakistan Auto Parts Show 2026. Honda, however, dismissed the report as speculation.
The Pakistan Auto Parts Show is scheduled to take place from September 18 to 20, raising expectations within the automotive industry about the possible introduction of new vehicles and models.
The current 6th-generation Honda City has been available in Pakistan’s local market since 2021.
While speculation about new models frequently emerges in the automotive market, Honda Atlas has advised customers to disregard unverified reports and wait for confirmed information through the company’s official channels.
