Imran Khan Will Be in Hospital Before September 15, Predicts Hamid Mir

ISLAMABAD: Senior journalist and analyst Hamid Mir has made several significant predictions about the country’s current political situation, PTI founder Imran Khan’s health and the future of the ruling coalition.
Speaking about Imran Khan’s health, Mir said the former prime minister currently needs the attention of specialist doctors and suggested that a court decision could determine his next move.
Mir claimed that Imran Khan would be out of jail and in a hospital before September 15. He said that, depending on a court ruling, Imran Khan could potentially be shifted from the hospital to Bani Gala.
According to Mir, Imran Khan urgently requires continuous treatment and attention from highly qualified doctors. He added that even if there is a delay in a judicial decision, the government would have to bring Imran Khan to a hospital before PTI’s planned long march on September 27.

Addressing speculation about Imran Khan receiving treatment abroad, Mir said that even if a court allowed him to travel overseas for medical treatment, he personally believed that the PTI founder would not leave Pakistan.
He said Imran Khan would likely prefer to remain in Pakistan for his treatment and face the legal cases against him from within the country.
Discussing the future of the ruling coalition and the political strategy of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Mir also made a major political claim. He said PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari was preparing to take a significant political step that could result in the party leaving the ruling coalition and joining the opposition camp.
Mir claimed that Bilawal Bhutto would have to pay a political and administrative price for such a decision and was even prepared to face imprisonment.
He further claimed that President Asif Ali Zardari had also become mentally prepared to leave the Presidency in view of the prevailing political circumstances.
