No Compromise on Protection of Women and Girls, Asma and Her Family Must Get Justice: Kiran Baloch

QUETTA: Chairperson of the Balochistan Commission on the Status of Women (BCSW) Kiran Baloch has welcomed the latest developments in the Asma Amanullah kidnapping case, saying that the protection of women and girls cannot be compromised and that Asma and her family must be provided justice at all costs.
In a statement, Kiran Baloch said the arrest of four suspects, along with the recovery of the vehicle and weapons allegedly used in the crime, was a highly commendable development.
She praised the Quetta Police, particularly the entire team led by the SSP Operations, for taking prompt and successful action in the case.
The BCSW chairperson urged the relevant authorities to continue the investigation with complete transparency so that all facts surrounding the case could be brought to light.
She demanded that every person involved in the heinous crime be dealt with strictly under the law and given the maximum punishment to send a clear and deterrent message to society.
Kiran Baloch stressed that Asma Amanullah and her family must receive justice under all circumstances, adding that ensuring justice is essential to eliminating the sense of insecurity among citizens.
She reiterated her firm commitment that there would be no compromise whatsoever on the protection of women and girls in the state and society.
She further said that the Balochistan Commission on the Status of Women would continue to play an effective and proactive role in safeguarding the rights and security of women and girls.
