Asma Juttak’s Sister Appeals to Government and Law Enforcement to Bring Those Involved to Justice

KHUZDAR: The sister of Asma Juttak has appealed to the federal and Balochistan governments, law enforcement agencies, judiciary, human rights organizations and the media to ensure justice in the case involving her family.

In an emotional statement, she said the family had endured severe suffering and indescribable trauma, adding that the incidents had completely changed their lives.

She said the family was continuing to live in an atmosphere of fear and insecurity and wanted only one thing: that the law be allowed to take its course.

“We are not seeking any special favour from anyone; we only want justice,” she said, calling for a complete, impartial and transparent investigation and for all those found involved in the case to be brought before the law.

She also appealed to the relevant institutions to provide security to the family and ensure fair prosecution of the case. No influential person, she said, should be considered above the law.

The sister of Asma Juttak urged the Pakistani public to support the family’s demand for justice, share their message and raise their voice so that no other family would have to experience similar pain and fear.

She said the family’s demands were limited to justice, protection and the supremacy of law.
