PPP Wins LA-15, PML-N Secures LA-16 in AJK Elections

MUZAFFARABAD:Results have emerged from two constituencies in Azad Jammu and Kashmir’s Bagh district, with the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) winning LA-15 and the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) securing LA-16.
Re-polling was held today at **23 polling stations** across the two constituencies, following which unofficial and unverified results were announced.
According to unofficial results from all **186 polling stations** in LA-16, PML-N candidate **Mir Akbar Khan** won the seat with **20,793 votes**. PPP’s **Qamar-uz-Zaman Khan** secured **16,964 votes**, losing by a margin of **3,829 votes**.
Meanwhile, unofficial results from all **213 polling stations** in LA-15 Bagh showed PPP candidate **Zia Qamar** winning with **17,019 votes**.
His PML-N rival **Mushtaq Minhas** received **15,127 votes**, with Zia Qamar securing victory by a margin of **1,892 votes**.
The results are unofficial and unverified pending formal confirmation by the relevant election authorities.
