Veterans’ Experience and Guidance a Valuable Institutional Asset: Field Marshal Asim Munir
ISLAMABAD: Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir hosted a reception in honour of military veterans on the occasion of Independence Day, with a large number of retired army officers and personnel attending the event.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Field Marshal Asim Munir paid tribute to the services and contributions of veterans toward the defence of the country and appreciated their role in strengthening national resilience.
Speaking on the occasion, the army chief said that the experience and guidance of veterans constituted a valuable institutional asset in dealing with the complex security environment.
The veterans expressed confidence in the leadership of the Pakistan Army and reaffirmed their continued support for the military in addressing emerging security challenges.
They also expressed their resolve to continue playing their role in promoting national unity, peace and prosperity.
