No Significant Rain Expected in Sindh During August, Met Office Says

KARACHI: Sindh is unlikely to receive significant rainfall this month, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department.
The Met Office said most parts of Sindh are expected to experience hot and humid weather today, while isolated drizzle is likely in coastal areas and Tharparkar district.
In Karachi, the weather is expected to remain mostly cloudy and humid over the next three days, with chances of isolated drizzle during the morning and night.
The maximum temperature in the city is expected to remain between 32°C and 34°C today.
The Meteorological Department said August could pass without significant rainfall across Sindh, as no monsoon system currently appears likely to affect the province during the month.
