President Zardari Approves Multiple Summaries Sent by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif
ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari has approved several summaries sent by Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif.
According to the approved summaries, President Zardari authorized military awards for 1,172 personnel of the armed forces and civil armed forces in recognition of their services.
The president also approved the summoning of the National Assembly and Senate sessions on August 17. The National Assembly session will begin at 5pm, while the Senate session will commence at 4pm.
In addition, the president approved a special remission of 100 days in the sentences of prisoners on the occasions of Independence Day and Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH).
President Zardari also approved national awards for citizens belonging to various fields of civilian life in recognition of their services and contributions.
