Rawalpindi: Rawalpindi Police have released details surrounding the death of 28-year-old female heavy biker and TikToker Komal Jan, saying preliminary investigations indicate that she fell into the Soan River while recording a TikTok video.

According to police, Komal Jan fell into the river from a bridge near Defence Phase-I in Rawalpindi. The incident was reported through the emergency helpline, following which a police team reached the scene and launched a search operation.

After several hours of searching, police recovered Komal Jan’s body from the Soan River.

Police officials said her motorcycle was found parked near the river along with her handbag, helmet and a mobile phone. During the investigation, police took two mobile phones into custody. One was found in her handbag, while the other was reportedly being used by Komal Jan to record a TikTok video.

Initial investigations suggest that she accidentally fell into the river while recording the video. Police have also recorded preliminary statements from eyewitnesses as part of the investigation.

Sources said Komal Jan was an employee of the Election Commission of Pakistan and was passionate about heavy-bike riding. She regularly made videos of her motorcycle trips and uploaded them on social media.
