‘He Replied to Them Like Sisters’: Dr Nabiha Clears Husband, Blames ‘Other Girls’
LAHORE: Psychiatrist and prominent social media personality Dr Nabiha Ali Khan has offered a fresh explanation regarding the controversies surrounding her marriage to Haris Khokhar, saying that the women who allegedly messaged her husband were primarily responsible for creating misunderstandings between the couple.
Dr Nabiha had previously made several serious allegations against her husband during divorce proceedings, claiming that he had several girlfriends. Although divorce proceedings between the couple were initiated twice, the two remain together and were recently seen vacationing in Murree.
In her latest remarks, Dr Nabiha said, “It was actually the girls’ fault that they deliberately messaged Haris to make me jealous.”
She added that Haris’s only mistake was that he responded to those messages.
Haris, in response, explained that when female journalists contacted him to ask about the couple’s troubled relationship, he responded to them considering them his sisters.
“If female journalists wanted to know about our problems, I was replying to them as if they were my sisters. What was my fault in that?” Haris said.
Dr Nabiha then responded that if that was the case, Haris had done nothing wrong and that the blame lay entirely with the other women who continued messaging him.
She further said that Haris had promised to improve himself and that the commitment was enough for her.
Dr Nabiha also revealed that during the period when the couple were living separately and going through conflicts, she received messages from several numbers containing allegations that Haris was involved in inappropriate chats.
She said the messages were accompanied by allegedly fake AI-generated videos purportedly showing Haris engaging in inappropriate activities, which further complicated the situation.
The latest clarification from the couple has prompted social media users to express differing opinions about their relationship and the controversies surrounding it.
Dr Nabiha and Haris Khokhar, who were longtime friends before getting married, have faced several controversies in their marital life in recent months.
