Independence Day to Be Celebrated with National Spirit in Nasirabad, Says Mir Muhammad Sadiq Umrani

NASIRABAD: Balochistan Provincial Minister for Irrigation Mir Muhammad Sadiq Umrani has said that living nations always remember the sacrifices of their ancestors, adding that Independence Day will be celebrated in Nasirabad with national enthusiasm, dignity and grandeur.
Speaking while reviewing preparations for Independence Day celebrations at Umrani House in Nasirabad, he said the sacrifices made by the people’s forefathers for the creation of Pakistan and liberation from colonial rule were an unforgettable chapter of the country’s history.
He said that on the occasion of Pakistan’s 79th Independence Day, celebrations would be held across Nasirabad with national zeal and enthusiasm. Umrani House would also be illuminated and a fireworks display would be organized to express love for the country and promote national unity.
The provincial minister directed party workers to decorate various intersections, main roads, link roads and important buildings in the divisional headquarters of Dera Murad Jamali with national and green-and-white flags.
He said the decorations would convey a clear message to the world that the Pakistani nation deeply values the sacrifices of its ancestors and remains united and committed to carrying forward their mission.
“Today, we breathe in an atmosphere of freedom because of the struggle and sacrifices of our forefathers,” Umrani said, adding that Independence Day was not merely a festival but an occasion to renew the national commitment.
In line with the directives of Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti, Independence Day celebrations will also be organized at the government level across Nasirabad and other parts of the province, with the national day being observed in a befitting manner.
