PTI to Announce Protest Strategy on August 1, Announces 5th August Protest for Constitution Protection

Peshawar:The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has decided to announce its strategy for upcoming protests on August 1, 2025. PTI’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa President, Junaid Akbar, confirmed that the party would reveal its detailed plan regarding the protest on this date.

In a statement, Akbar mentioned that consultations are ongoing with party leaders regarding the protest strategy. He confirmed that the major protest on August 5 will be held under the platform of the “Tehreek-e-Tahaffuz-e-Ain” (Movement for Protection of the Constitution).

The announcement comes amid rising political tensions, with PTI continuing its vocal opposition to the government.

Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Ali Amin Gandapur, also weighed in, stating that those who sought to break the spirit of Imran Khan will eventually fall apart. He further emphasized that the people stand firmly with PTI and that they will not back down. *”We are standing with Imran Khan like a rock; there is no question of retreating,”* Gandapur declared.

PTI is preparing for a nationwide protest movement, which is expected to gain significant traction, especially in the wake of continued political unrest and opposition demands for justice for the former Prime Minister, Imran Khan.
