Rain, Thunderstorms Forecast in Islamabad and Several Parts of Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Meteorological Department has forecast rain accompanied by strong winds and thunderstorms in Islamabad and surrounding areas during the next few hours.
According to the Met Office, northeastern Punjab and upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are also expected to receive thunderstorms and rain on Tuesday night.
Rain with strong thunderstorms is likely at isolated locations in Rawalpindi, Murree, Gujranwala, Lahore and Kasur. Meanwhile, most districts of Punjab are expected to experience hot and humid weather.

The Meteorological Department said that during the next three days, upper and central parts of the country could receive thunderstorms and rain at some places, while hot and humid conditions are expected to persist in several other areas.
Islamabad and its adjoining areas are likely to remain partly cloudy in the coming days, with occasional strong winds, thunderstorms and rain.
Rain and thunderstorms are also expected at isolated places in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir and adjoining hilly areas, while some parts of Punjab may also receive rainfall.
In contrast, southern and plain areas of the country are expected to remain hot and humid.
