Gold Price rises by Rs2,400 per tola in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: Gold prices in Pakistan continued their upward trend on Tuesday, with the price of gold per tola increasing by Rs2,400 in line with gains in the international market.

According to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold rose to Rs459,736 per tola.

The price of 10-gram gold also increased by Rs2,050, reaching Rs394,149.

On Monday, gold was priced at Rs457,366 per tola after recording an increase of Rs800.

In the international market, gold prices increased by $24 to reach $4,373 per ounce, including a $20 premium.

Meanwhile, silver prices also moved higher in the local market, rising by Rs62 to Rs6,965 per tola.
