Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi Returns to Islamabad After Oman Visit

Islamabad (Qudrat Daily): Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has arrived in Islamabad once again after completing his visit to Muscat, the capital of Oman.
According to reports, Araghchi returned to Pakistan following his diplomatic engagements in Muscat, where he held important meetings. A delegation from Iran has also reached Islamabad to join him. Some members of the delegation had earlier returned to Tehran for consultations and have now rejoined the foreign minister in Pakistan.
During his visit to Oman, Araghchi met with Haitham bin Tariq Al Said, where both sides discussed regional developments and bilateral relations. Efforts to de-escalate tensions and end ongoing conflicts were also part of the discussions. The Omani Sultan emphasized the need to minimize the impact of crises on regional populations and highlighted dialogue and diplomacy as key tools for achieving lasting political solutions.
A diplomatic source indicated that if Araghchi, after consultations with mediators, concludes that an agreement is possible, meetings between delegations of Iran and the United States could take place in the coming days.
It is worth noting that Araghchi had departed from Islamabad earlier this week, as Pakistan continues efforts to mediate between Tehran and Washington. Following his Oman visit, he has returned to Pakistan before proceeding to his next destination, Russia.
