Government Will Take All Political Forces Along for Balochistan’s Development, Says Sarfraz Bugti

QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti has said the provincial government will continue taking effective measures for the development of the province and the prosperity of its people by taking all political and democratic forces on board.
The chief minister made these remarks during separate meetings with provincial ministers, members of the Balochistan Assembly, political leaders and other prominent figures on Monday.
Those who met Chief Minister Bugti included Provincial Ministers Nawabzada Mir Zia Langau, Mir Asim Kurd Gelo and Nawabzada Mir Tariq Magsi; Leader of the Opposition Mir Younis Aziz Zehri; MPAs Mir Zabid Reki, Rahmat Saleh Baloch and Dr Muhammad Nawaz Kabzai; Parliamentary Secretaries Mir Abdul Samad Gorgage and Asghar Tareen; Pakistan Peoples Party Balochistan President Sardar Umar Gorgage; Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Balochistan chief Maulana Abdul Wasay; Honorary Consul of Germany Mir Murad Baloch; and former Sibi district nazim Mir Hairbyar Khan Domki.
During the meetings, the participants discussed the overall political and administrative situation in the province, public issues, development projects and other matters of mutual interest.
Progress on ongoing development schemes, public welfare initiatives and the law-and-order situation also came under discussion.
Mir Sarfraz Bugti said Balochistan’s development, resolution of public problems and establishment of lasting peace were among the government’s top priorities.
He reiterated that the government would continue working with all political and democratic forces to promote development and improve the living standards of the people of Balochistan.
The meetings also agreed to strengthen mutual cooperation and coordination to improve governance, resolve public grievances and make the province’s development process more effective.
