Makkah Joint Defense Pact a Historic Development and Milestone for Regional Peace: Balochistan CM

Quetta: Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti has described the joint defense agreement signed between Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Türkiye in Makkah as a historic development and a significant milestone for peace, security, and stability in the region.

In a statement, Chief Minister Bugti said the agreement would further strengthen mutual trust and cooperation among the three brotherly countries. He added that the defense partnership would make an important contribution toward protecting the collective interests of the Muslim world.

He said the Makkah Agreement reflected the shared commitment of Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Türkiye to building a secure, stable, and prosperous future. The agreement, he added, would provide new momentum to the strategic partnership among the three countries.

The Balochistan chief minister praised the role of Prime Minister of Pakistan and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir in making the important defense agreement possible, describing their efforts as commendable.

Bugti said the historic agreement signed in Makkah marked the beginning of a new chapter in collective regional security and cooperation.

He concluded by praying that the landmark agreement would become a source of peace, prosperity, and blessings for Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Türkiye, and the wider Muslim world.
