Pakistan Government Announces Cut in Petrol and Diesel Prices

ISLAMABAD: The federal government has announced a reduction in the prices of petroleum products, providing modest relief to consumers.

According to a notification issued by the Petroleum Division, the price of petrol has been reduced by Rs3.19 per litre, while the price of high-speed diesel has been cut by Rs1.50 per litre.

Following the revision, the new price of petrol has been set at Rs329.82 per litre, while high-speed diesel will now be available at Rs382.36 per litre.

The revised prices will come into effect from 12:00 a.m. tonight, according to the official notification.
