Balochistan CM Lauds Security Forces, Vows to Defeat Attempts to Destabilize Province

QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti has described the successful security operations carried out in Washuk and Mastung as a significant achievement in the country’s ongoing campaign against terrorism. He said anti-state elements and their foreign backers would never succeed in their malicious designs.

The Chief Minister stated that security forces and law enforcement agencies are working around the clock to foil every attempt aimed at disrupting the peaceful environment of Balochistan. He praised the forces for demonstrating professionalism, timely intelligence, and effective operational strategy during the successful operations.

Bugti emphasized that terrorism is not the challenge of a single institution but a collective national issue that requires unity, public cooperation, and close coordination among all state institutions. He said enemy-backed terrorist groups are attempting to undermine peace, development, and prosperity in Balochistan, but their plans will be decisively defeated.

He reaffirmed that the Government of Balochistan will continue to extend full support to security forces and law enforcement agencies in the fight against terrorism. Ensuring law and order, protecting the lives and property of citizens, and maintaining the momentum of development projects will remain the government’s top priorities.

The Chief Minister also reiterated the government’s commitment to continuing indiscriminate action against terrorists, their facilitators, and anti-state elements to keep Balochistan on the path of peace, stability, and progress. He added that the entire nation stands firmly behind its brave security forces and that there will be no compromise on Pakistan’s defense, security, and stability.
