Pakistan’s Exports Rise Sharply at Start of New Fiscal Year

Islamabad:The government of Prime Minister **Shehbaz Sharif** has recorded a significant increase in exports at the beginning of the new fiscal year, according to the latest trade figures released by the **Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS)**.

Despite ongoing regional uncertainty, Pakistan’s exports posted strong growth during **July 2026**, reflecting a positive start to the fiscal year.

Official data showed that exports increased by **31.09% on a month-on-month basis**, while **year-on-year exports rose by 9.54%**.

Pakistan’s exports reached **$2.939 billion** in **July 2026**, compared with **$2.242 billion** in **June 2026**, marking a substantial monthly increase in export earnings.

The latest figures indicate improved export performance in the first month of the new fiscal year, providing a positive signal for the country’s external trade sector.
