Khalaq Jhalawan Rejects Links to Master Inayatullah Jatak’s Killing, Demands Arrest of Suspects

Khuzdar: A spokesperson for Khalaq Jhalawan (Anjeera) has strongly condemned the killing of Master Inayatullah Jatak and rejected allegations linking the organization to the incident, describing such claims as baseless.

In a statement, the spokesperson said that Khalaq Jhalawan (Anjeera) had no connection with either the alleged abduction of Asma Jatak or the killing of Master Inayatullah.

The statement added that the Jatak tribe, along with all tribes of Balochistan, is held in high regard by Khalaq Jhalawan. It further said that Chief of Jhalawan Nawab Sanaullah Khan Zehri, Nawabzada Mir Naimatullah Khan Zehri, Nawabzada Amir Hamza Khan Zehri, and other local leaders have consistently worked to promote peace, harmony, and brotherhood in the region.

According to the spokesperson, following the reported abduction of Asma Jatak, Nawab Sanaullah Khan Zehri expressed sympathy and solidarity with the affected family and assured them of every possible support.

The statement also said that neither Nawab Sanaullah Khan Zehri nor Nawabzada Amir Hamza Khan Zehri had any knowledge of a recently circulated video related to Asma Jatak, noting that Nawab Sanaullah Khan Zehri was in Makkah to perform Umrah, while Nawabzada Amir Hamza Khan Zehri was outside the country.

The spokesperson maintained that the Jhalawan leadership had never provided protection to any accused person and would not do so in the future.

Calling for justice, the statement urged the authorities and police to take immediate legal action in cases of injustice anywhere in Khuzdar, Jhalawan, or elsewhere in Balochistan, and to arrest all individuals nominated by the victim’s family in accordance with the law.
