Pakistan Cuts Kerosene Prices After Reducing Petrol and Diesel Rates

Islamabad:Following a reduction in petrol and diesel prices, the government has also lowered the price of kerosene oil.

According to a notification issued by the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA), the price of kerosene has been reduced by **Rs3.58 per litre**, bringing the new price down to **Rs301.64 per litre** from the previous **Rs305.22 per litre**.

Earlier, the government announced a decrease in the prices of major petroleum products effective **August 4**.

Under the notification issued by the Petroleum Division, the price of **petrol** has been cut by **Rs4.08 per litre**, setting the new rate at **Rs331.95 per litre**.

Similarly, the price of **high-speed diesel (HSD)** has been reduced by **Rs2.45 per litre**, lowering its new price to **Rs389.93 per litre**.

The latest price adjustments are expected to provide some relief to consumers amid fluctuating global oil prices.
