Dalbandin: Unidentified armed men carried out three separate attacks on convoys traveling along the N-40 Highway in Chagai district, including setting a truck on fire and opening fire at different locations. Authorities said no casualties were reported in any of the incidents.

According to police sources, the first incident occurred in the Mazang area, where armed men set a truck ahead of the convoy ablaze. Officials clarified that the burned vehicle was not part of the convoy. The convoy was temporarily halted before resuming its journey towards Padag, with none of the convoy vehicles sustaining any damage.

In a second incident, which took place on the previous night near Chahtar on the N-40 Highway, unidentified attackers opened fire on a convoy. A vehicle’s tire burst during the attack, but there were no casualties or property losses, and the convoy continued its journey after necessary security measures were taken.

The third attack occurred on Monday near Ismail Landhi, close to Yakmach, where armed men fired on convoys traveling between Nok Kundi and Dalbandin in both directions. Security personnel immediately returned fire, forcing the attackers to flee. No casualties or damage were reported in this incident either.

According to security sources, security has been further strengthened along the N-40 Highway following the three incidents. Search operations are underway in the surrounding areas to locate and apprehend those responsible for the attacks.
