Sindh Government to Launch Youth Card for 100,000 Young People

Karachi: The Sindh government has completed preparations for the launch of the Sindh Youth Card, with Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari expected to officially inaugurate the initiative during the last week of this month.

In a statement, Sindh Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Sardar Muhammad Bakhsh Khan Mahar said that, in the first phase, 100,000 young people aged 15 to 29 years from all 30 districts of Sindh will receive the Sindh Youth Card.

He said cardholders will be eligible for a range of benefits, including scholarships for higher education, interest-free loans, financial assistance, and access to other government facilities.

The minister added that the registration process for the Sindh Youth Card will be conducted entirely online and has been designed to be simple and accessible, allowing as many eligible young people as possible to apply.

He also clarified that the Sindh Youth Card will only be issued to applicants who hold a valid Sindh domicile certificate.
