Investigation Advances in Death of Young Man Found in Karachi’s Gulistan-e-Jauhar

Karachi: Police have made significant progress in the investigation into the death of a young man from Karachi’s PECHS area whose body was found in Gulistan-e-Jauhar.

According to investigators, the victim’s mobile phone has not yet been recovered. Police also revealed that his social media accounts were deactivated a day before the incident, and the case is being investigated from multiple angles.

CCTV footage has surfaced showing the victim, Mir Raza Ali, leaving his residence at 4:09 a.m. in an online ride-hailing taxi.

Police have traced the driver of the ride-hailing vehicle, who told investigators that he dropped Mir Raza Ali at his kitchen facility in Gulistan-e-Jauhar. The driver has been formally included in the investigation.

The victim’s father said Mir Raza Ali was a student at the Institute of Business Administration (IBA) and had been running his own business for the past five years.

Police said the investigation is ongoing, and further evidence is being collected to determine the circumstances surrounding the young man’s death.
