Dubai Immigration Announces Special Assistance for Individuals Facing UAE Visa Issues

DUBAI: Dubai’s immigration authorities have announced special support measures for individuals facing visa-related difficulties in the United Arab Emirates, urging them to immediately approach the relevant offices to seek assistance.

Speaking at a press briefing on Wednesday, Lieutenant General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, head of Dubai Immigration, said that anyone experiencing visa-related problems should inform the authorities of their circumstances and visit the Al Aweer Center for support. Senior immigration officials were also present at the briefing.

He said that individuals who do not have accommodation will be provided with temporary housing. Free meals and other essential services will also be arranged for those in need to help them cope with difficult circumstances.

Lieutenant General Al Marri added that people with health-related issues will receive assistance, including free medical examinations and, where necessary, complimentary dental treatment.

He further stated that authorities will work to assist individuals who are unable to return to their home countries by addressing the obstacles preventing their departure and coordinating efforts to facilitate their return.

Dubai Immigration has also established a new center dedicated to assisting stranded tourists and job seekers in Dubai by providing guidance and support services.

Emphasizing the humanitarian nature of the initiative, Lieutenant General Al Marri said that tourists and individuals seeking employment should be treated as guests. He reaffirmed the authorities’ commitment to listening to their concerns and making every possible effort to provide appropriate solutions.

Dubai Immigration has encouraged all affected individuals to come forward without hesitation so that their cases can be reviewed and resolved promptly.
