Injured Additional Sessions Judge Shifted to CMH on CM’s Orders Following Mastung Attack

QUETTA: Additional Sessions Judge Tariq Lashari, who was injured in the recent terrorist attack in Mastung, has been shifted to the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Quetta on the instructions of Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti to ensure he receives specialized medical treatment.
According to a statement issued by Shahid Rind, Adviser to the Chief Minister on Information and Political Affairs, the chief minister directed that the injured judge be provided with the best available medical care without delay.
Rind said the Government of Balochistan would bear all medical expenses related to Judge Lashari’s treatment and would ensure that every necessary measure is taken for his speedy recovery.
He added that the provincial government stands in complete solidarity with the judiciary during this difficult time and remains committed to providing full support to the injured judicial officer and his family.
The transfer of the injured judge from the Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Trauma and Emergency Institute to CMH has prompted public discussion and criticism in some quarters regarding the capacity and utilization of the province’s newly established trauma care facilities. However, the official statement issued by the provincial government focused on ensuring the judge received the highest standard of medical treatment and did not comment on the reasons for the transfer.
